Missoni Search Continues: New Details Emerge
Things seem less and less hopeful as the search for Vittorio Missoni’s missing plane continues, and now there’s evidence that the pilot was flying on an expired license.
Italian newspaper La Repubblica has reported that German Marchan (72) was not fully authorized to operate an airplane, and perhaps his expired credentials factored in to a possible crash.
Furthermore, the airline involved in the fiasco was not cleared by ANSV (Italian flight agency) to take to the skies on January 4th, the day of the disappearance.
Previous reports have also indicated that Venezuelan officials may have found a spot over water where the plane dropped rapidly on the radar.
