Burch's Exchange Subpoenas for Christmas
It’s no secret that the holiday season can cause some serious family drama, but Tory and Chris Burch have taken it to an all new low.
The feuding ex-spouses delivered subpoenas to several key witnesses in their respective lawsuits against each other over the Christmas break in hopes of strengthening their cases.
According to a report, Tory retained Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and notified former creative director Scott Formby that he’d be questioned on whether or not Chris “used any of her company secrets” to start his C. Wonder gig.
Meanwhile, Mr. Burch subpoenaed Tory’s brother Robert Isen and Patty Isen for similar reasons. Apparently he’s “quite concerned that she is going for the jugular. Things between them are spiraling downward,” says an insider.
Another source added, “Chris is hitting back with just as much force. This is becoming very bitter.”
